The Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Seminar is the required prerequisites for individuals seeking certification as a CDP Certified Dementia Practitioner and who qualify for CDP certification. Goals and Objectives of the Course -To deliver essential instructions on dementia and its care. -To enhance the quality of life of dementia patients through educating care providers. -To cultivate empathy and regard for clients affected by dementia. -To teach effective communication strategies. -To offer sensitive methods for aiding patients in daily activities. - Participants will acquire knowledge about dementia. -Recognize typical triggers for hostile, sundowning, and repeated behaviors in elderly individuals. -Describe challenges related to caregiver stress and utilize stress reduction techniques. -Learn alternative activities interventions that are success-oriented and failure- free. - Receive a certificate of attendance at the completion of the seminar. - CEU information: ADDC seminars are approved, information will be provided upon request. We train healthcare professionals, para-professional, to care, support and advocate for others suffering with Alzheimer's disease and dementia, and offer caregiver training to navigate, with the many aspects for their care. The ADDC Seminar, is an 8- hour program, textbooks are included with the tuition. A one-hour lunch break and two. 15 minutes breaks are also included. Registrations and Cancellation: Tuition is regularly $210.00, but we will offer special discounts, from time to time. When I receive your payment, you will receive an email confirmation. It's imperative, that you login in on time. Any delay will forfeit your place in the seminar and your tuitions.
